K.Michael Studio LLC ("K.Michael Studio," "we," "us," or "our") is a brand identity and web design studio based in California. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://www.kmichaelstudio.com (the "Site"), contact us, or work with us, and how we use and protect it.

Information you give us directly. When you fill out our inquiry form, sign up for our newsletter, book a call, or email us, we may collect:

Information from clients. If you become a client, we may also collect information needed to deliver your project, such as billing and contact details, brand materials, website login access you provide, and notes from our strategy sessions.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site (hosted on Squarespace) automatically collects some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule calls

  • Provide our services, including strategy sessions, design work, and website builds

  • Send invoices and manage payments

  • Send our newsletter, if you have subscribed

  • Keep the Site secure and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How We Share Your Information

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do their work. These include:

  • Squarespace, which hosts our Site, processes form submissions, and provides site analytics

  • Google Workspace, which we use for email, file storage, and video calls (Google Meet)

  • Our email newsletter provider, which stores subscriber emails and sends our newsletter

  • Our bank, which receives client payments made by bank transfer. We do not collect or store payment card details on our Site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our Site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, along with analytics cookies that help us understand traffic and how pages perform.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals, so our Site does not currently respond to them.
